Hunting ethics are very important to us. That is why we do NOT do reduction hunting. We prefer to offer you mature, highly qualified trophies, so you can leave with a big smile on your face and be proud. Due to our hunting ethics the wildlife stock stays moderate.
Hunting ground
Stolzenberg Hunting proudly ownes 12,000ha (33,000acres) of farmland. Farm Capbon is situated 370km (225 miles) north of Namibia’s capital, Windhoek, between Otavi and Outjo. Most of the farmland is rocky and bushy which makes your hunting experience even more exciting. There could be an animal behind every bush when you least expect it.
In-between you will also find wide and open areas which are perfect for high tower blind hunting.
The very rare Eland antelope feels very comfortable in the bushy areas. On our farm you will find herds with 200 members. Other game like Black/Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Steenbok and many more are also very common to see.
Fire arms
If possible do not use less than a 30.06. For Eland hunts and big antilopes bigger calibers are preferred including 8 x 68; 9.3 x 64; 375 H & H. Be sure of your rifle and scope. Bring at least 40 rounds of ammunition for your rifle. We have a gun range where you can try out your rifles before you go hunting. Handguns and muzzleloaders are prohibited. Good binoculars are a necessity. If you want to bring your own firearms you have to fill out a weapon import form at the airport in Windhoek. Here is a link to download the document:

Non Hunters
Your loved ones are more than welcome to join you on the hunt if you wish so. If they prefer to to stay at the farm, they can either relax at the pool/room or make use of one of our activities that we offer at the farm. We would be more than happy to create an exciting program for your company.
Export of trophies
For preparations we can offer you a German and English speaking taxidermist in Otavi, about 30km from our farm. You can also choose another taxidermist anywhere else. With the taxidermist you can talk about further transportation to your house and he can offer you a variety of different preparations of your trophy. You can get all the information you need about import and export of your trophies from the taxidemist.
